Does tea go off? What is the use-by date on your blends?
Technically speaking, tea does not actually spoil or expire in the sense that it never becomes unsafe to drink over time.
However, we will always place a 12 month expiry date on our batches.
Please note that it is important to keep in mind that tea carries the most health benefits and best taste when it is fresh. That’s why we only ship the freshest tea blends and place them in a resealable foil pouch specifically designed to lock in freshness. Keep away from heat and sunlight.
Will the Hormone Balance tea always look purple?
The tea blends are hand blended. Depending on the flowers that you capture in your infuser the hormone balance blend may vary in colour from purple to blue to red to grey or green. We cannot control pigments in plants and their strength as they are not standardised herbs. They come as they are picked and this is reliant on the weather and natural forces of nature.

Do you have clinical trials or scientific studies on your blends?
Our blends are formulated by a qualified naturopath using herbs that have a long history of traditional use in various herbal practices.
We have not conducted formal clinical trials on our finished tea products. While there is published research on some individual herbal ingredients, the information on this website is proveded for general interest only and should not be taken as medical advice or as a guarantee of any particular outcome.
If you are interested in the scientific literature on specific herbs, we recommend discussing it with a healthcare professional who can help you interpret the evidence in the context of your own health.

No products will suit everyone perfectly. Our products have been designed for natural wellness. Everybody is different. Your personal requirements may differ and you should use your judgment when determining what is right for you.

I have allergies or take medication. Can I drink your teas?
Our teas contain a range of herbs and botanicals. If you have any allergies, intolerances or medical conditions, it is important to carefully review the ingredeint list for each product before purchase.
If you are unsure whether a particular herb is suitable for you- especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or have a diagnosed medical condition-we strongly recommend speaking with your doctor, pharmacist or another suitably qualified healthcare professional before using any herbal product.
We take care in listing our ingredients and handling our product. However, nothing in this FAQ limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law if product is mislabelled, defective or not as described.
We are generally unable to provide refunds where you experience an allergic or adverse reaction that arises from a sensitivity to a listed ingredient. However, if you believe a product is faulty, contaminated, mislabelled or not as described, please contact us so that we can assess the issue in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Has my order been successful?
If your order has been successful you will receive a confirmation email shortly after your order has been processed. This email will be sent to the nominated email at checkout, so make sure you double check the email address entered is correct.
If you did not receive a confirmation email please check your junk/ spam folders and if it not there please email us at cleanherbals@gmail.com and we will be able to look up the success of your order for you.
Do we always get a free infuser?
We will endeavour to always honour our deals. During COVID we had some delays and sent you a replacement gift. If you received a strainer instead of an infuser please reach out send a pic of what your received and proof of purchase and we will honour this special free deal.
Do your prices include GST and other taxes?

What is Afterpay?
Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in four payments made every 2 weeks without any interest.
How do I use Afterpay?
Simply shop online or in-store (where available) and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At the checkout choose Afterpay as your payment method. First-time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details, as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It’s that easy!
Please note that all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Afterpay. A minimum purchase amount may apply and you must meet additional eligibility requirements to qualify.
Where can I use Afterpay?
Afterpay can only be applied to purchases made on the retailer website or in-store (where available).
How does the payment schedule work?
All customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account.
You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so.

When will my items be delivered if I use Afterpay?
Afterpay orders are delivered as per our standard shipping time frame after you complete your order online. Visit the retailer’s shipping page for more information.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend on a single transaction?
Yes, transaction value limits apply to purchases made on the retailer website using Afterpay.
What products are not eligible for purchase using Afterpay?
Afterpay is not available on purchases of gift cards. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Afterpay eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders.
How do I return or exchange an item purchased using Afterpay?
If you have changed your mind, you can return your Afterpay purchase in-store or by mail for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy here. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to Afterpay.
